Happy Saturday friends!
Are you all getting ready for Halloween night?
I cant believe how fast it has snuck up on us!
My grand kids dad, picked them up last night for a Halloween carnival
at Kasen's school. I forgot how much fun it was getting kids ready for Halloween, and just to think that
I get to do it again this Wednesday. YAY!!!
Do you dress up for Halloween?
A Ghost, Goblin or Witch? Maybe a Skeleton, perhaps?
Or, do you have your own Halloween party?
With spooky Halloween decor, and temptacious sweets and treats galore?
I love Halloween parties! We like to have one every year. More like an open house on Halloween night, with plenty of food and fun.
We missed last year, but this year we are planning on having a little something.
Mr. Skelly said he may be late to the party as he's all tied up over on Ebay
in fact, he said he may be headed to another party???
If you would like Mr. Skelly to join your party, then just simply click here.
And what a beautiful one it is here in Northern Utah.
I have another creation to share...
About a month ago, Alan and I went to a swap meet with my Brother and Sis-in-law. I was so excited when I came upon a box of old domino's, and I was even more excited when the fella told me the price of $ 3.00 I believe there (were) is 96 super nice domino's in that box.
I've seen many artists and crafters make them into some really, really cute artsy pendants.
What I really wanted to do with them was to create sets of 3 ornaments and sell them for a low, low price on Ebay.
Yesterday, I listed 2 sets and they were gone within 5 minutes of listing them.( That was the fastest sale in my whole life of selling on ebay ).
While taking a walk with my daughter and grand kids one cozy Autumn evening, I noticed beautimus pieces of driftwood scattered here and there.
I enjoy looking at all the curious shapes and sizes, but this small piece of old wood surely screamed Santa!!!
So, whats a creative girl to do? I surely couldn't pass up this moment of inspiration, so I scooped up the little piece of wood and tossed it into my bag.
A few bits of clay, a little paint and wallah!!!! It's Santa Claus :)
I love those beautiful and inspiring walks :)
This driftwood Santa is listed on Ebay with a low starting bid of .99 cents.
